Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a location assistant to perform general lot duties, housekeeping, and grounds maintenance. The role requires following safety rules and regulations while contributing to site upkeep and equipment tasks.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, with agriculture experience preferred. Overtime may be required during peak seasons; basic mechanical skills for daily equipment maintenance are a plus.

Job Description Position Overview: This position will assist the location with general lot duties and will be expected to follow safety rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds including but not limited to cleaning the lot, moving snow, spraying weeds, mowing grass. Ensure safety compliance. Assist in equipment maintenance. Soil Sampling Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments with management.

Required Qualifications

High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Prior ag experience a plus Required overtime as the season demands. Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferred.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location.

Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp.
