Job summary

Knight Feedlot in Lyons, KS is seeking a responsible Mill Operator to receive commodities, mix ingredients for cattle feed, and help maintain mill facilities and records. You will operate loader and dump truck as needed and assist in production recordkeeping.

You will also participate in preventive maintenance, adhere to OSHA procedures, and must pass post-offer testing. Competitive benefits offered upon employment.

• Receive commodities into the Mill and assist in determining moisture content.
• Mix ingredients for cattle feed and assist in upkeep of mill facilities.
• Operate loader and dump truck when transferring commodities or finished rations.
• Prepare production records and maintain daily production logs.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist in preventative maintenance of mill equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety procedures and pass post-offer employment testing.

Knight Feedlot is seeking a responsible and reliable Mill Operator for the feedyard located in Lyons, KS.Summary: Receive commodities into the Mill, mix ingredients for cattle feed, assist in upkeep of Mill facilities, operate equipment when transferring commodities, and perform general administrative duties.Essential Duties And Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Review daily assignment.Assist in receiving commodities and determining moisture content.Closely watch roll corrugation to maintain flake quality and production output.
