Job summary

The role requires building a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and developing a high-performing team. You will collaborate with Sales, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to support business objectives and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of leadership or management experience in manufacturing, mining, industrial processing, or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily mill operations ensuring safe, efficient production.
• Coach and schedule employees to maximize productivity and performance.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Manage production rates, labor utilization, and operating costs to meet budget targets.
• Drive maintenance and capital improvement projects to support operations.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Lead safety audits and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives and employee engagement.
