Job summary

Centerra Gold is looking for a Technician in Mill Maintenance for the Thompson Creek Mine. This role involves maintaining and repairing various mill equipment and ensuring effective operation through preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum high school diploma, trade certification preferred, and 3+ years of related experience. A competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits package are offered, including health insurance and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have access to personal transportation.
• Willingness to work in adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mill equipment as requested by Maintenance Supervision.
• Maximize equipment availability through efficient preventative maintenance programs.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental policies.

Skills

Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Education

Minimum high school diploma or GED

Millwright technology trade school certification preferred
