Job summary

West Fraser in Dudley, GA seeks an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate all plannable maintenance activities at the site. You will manage work orders, PMs, and safety-focused tasks, ensuring timely parts availability and proper records.

Experience with CMMS and strong communication across mill levels are essential. The role emphasizes daily scheduling, safety adherence, and collaboration with Maintenance Supervisors and Predictive Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
CMMS experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years Maintenance Planner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Daily review maintenance time sheets and compare completed work orders and PMs to time sheets, rescheduling as needed.
Review work orders for parts that need ordering.
Write new work orders as needed and plan daily maintenance and PMs with priority given to safety hazards.
Ensure parts are in stock for scheduled work and create requisitions for non-stock items.
Schedule outside contractors for maintenance or repair services as needed.
Attend safety meetings and communicate maintenance issues to supervisor.
