Rand Machine Products is seeking a Mill Machinist to operate and maintain CNC milling equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring high-precision parts. You will contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 5-7 years with Mazak CNC 5-axis mills, strong measurement skills, and teamwork mindset. In-person work location in New York.

Qualifications

• Proficient programming and setup based on prints and instructions.
• Attention to detail in documentation and specs.

In this vital role, you will operate and maintain CNC milling machines and related equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise in machining, blueprint reading, and technical programming will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. Skills Required

• 5-7 years of experience with Mazak CNC 5 axis Mills.
• Programming and setup of CNC machines based on print requirements and written instructions.
• Knowledge of Mazatrol, G-Code, understanding of Mastercam a plus.
• Documentation with attention to details and accuracy.
• Read and understand blue prints, specifications as well as written instructions.
• Able to hold tight tolerances.
• Experience in working with different types of materials.
• Use of measuring tools including micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• You must be able to positively contribute to the team environment in terms of productivity, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.
