Job summary

Columbia Forest Products in Vermont manufactures hardwood plywood and veneer for cabinetry and furniture. The position involves keeping the mill clean, rotating among duties, and following written and verbal instructions while working around moving machinery and forklift traffic.

You must be able to read English, lift up to 40 lbs, cross-train on multiple tasks, and maintain a strong safety record. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities to grow through training and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to rotate and cross-train job duties.

• Follow detailed instructions and safety rules.
• Excellent safety performance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the general mill, inside and outside areas.
• Sweep, shovel, climb ladders, operate wheelbarrow and skid steer.
• Transport waste and dispose of refuse; clean waste containers.
• Support yard work and plant grounds maintenance.
