Position Summary
The Mill Building Maintenance Support performs general maintenance and repairs on rental properties, both common areas and within units. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Primary Essential Responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance and repair for the community.
- Landscaping including grub/pest control, removing and pruning trees, moving and hauling equipment, irrigation system troubleshooting.
- Drywall mudding, taping and repairs.
- Carpentry including framing and detailed finish work.
- Sink and disposal replacements, snake sinks.
- Replace and install wood and tile flooring.
- Install appliances.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing sufficient to assess/troubleshoot minor issues and communicate those issues to a mechanical technician.
- Mini split cleaning.
- Expert painting, patching and sanding.
- Respond to all resident request service calls as directed by the supervisor.
- Regularly assess the property for safety and loss prevention.
- When assigned by the supervisor, schedule and oversee vendor work to ensure proper completion.
- When required, be available to respond to weather and environmental emergencies such as snowstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and fires.
- Maintain a working knowledge of corporate policies, procedures and regulations.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Be available to respond to emergency maintenance repairs after normal working hours, with the ability to return to the property within 30 minutes of notification.
- Keep the supervisor informed of activities, identified or potential problems, and bring forward solutions.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all residents, families, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record.
