Billerud NA is seeking a Mill Application Support Specialist to sustain and develop IT systems for manufacturing operations at North American facilities. You’ll work with IT and manufacturing teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement improvements in a fast-paced, 24x5x365 environment.
Ideal candidates have AS/BS in a technical field and 2+ years of IT application support, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The Mill Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing support, maintenance, and development of IT systems and applications that support the manufacturing operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with manufacturing IT systems and applications, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The specialist works closely with business groups, IT teams, and vendors to facilitate solution delivery and support in a 24x5x365 fast paced manufacturing environment. The specialist will manage the local systems and applications used at Billerud’s North American facilities. As systems understanding grows, the specialist will be assigned ownership of specific companywide applications.
