TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a Milk Runner (Part-Time) for Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports NICU patients by assisting with data collection, menu planning, and patient menu selections.

The position requires an Associates Degree or current pursuit of a clinical healthcare degree, with hospital experience preferred. The role uses Microsoft Office, EMR and diet office systems while ensuring compliance with nutrition policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or currently obtaining a degree in clinical healthcare.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records (EMR) and diet office systems; nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening and modified menu planning.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections.
• Follows all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Complies with federal, state, and accrediting standards while protecting confidentiality and patient rights.
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities.

• We are hiring immediately for a Milk Runner position.

• Location : Ascension St. Vincent's in Indianapolis, IN Note: online applications accepted only .

• Schedule : Part-Time, 4-hour shifts available

• Requirement : Associates degree or currently pursuing a degree in clinical healthcare.

• Pay Rate: $17/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Milk Runner (Part-Time) to join our NICU team with Touchpoint Support Services at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning

• Assists patients in completing menu selections

• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual

• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies

• Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable

• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications :

• Associates Degree or currently obtaining a degree in clinical healthcare

• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
