Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in High Point, NC is seeking a Milk Receiver to help flow raw milk from trucks into pasteurization and processing lines. You will ensure product meets quality specs and safety standards.

This role requires basic math, familiarity with dairy processes, and ability to work with automated equipment. You’ll join a farmer-owned cooperative committed to community, safety, and reliable, local dairy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of dairy production and process flow preferred.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with automated equipment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receives milk and condensed milk from delivery trucks for processing.
• Pulls samples of milk for quality testing.
• Adheres to FDA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA policies and regulations.
• Uses inventory systems to track and manage product flow.
• Communicates with Production Supervisors and Lab Technicians on issues.
• Participates in safety and efficiency initiatives.
• Cleans and maintains equipment per sanitation standards.
• Completes required training in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Milk Receiver is responsible for receiving raw milk from dairy tankers to support pasteurization and processing operations. Ensures all incoming product meets company specifications and complies with federal, state, and company quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives milk and condensed milk from delivery trucks for processing.
• Pulls samples of milk for quality testing to ensure compliance with company and government standards.
• Adheres to all food safety policies and regulatory requirements, including FDA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA.
• Utilizes established inventory systems to track and manage product flow.
• Communicates effectively with Production Supervisors and Lab Technicians regarding product issues or concerns.
• Participates in initiatives to improve workplace safety, reduce waste, and enhance production efficiency.
• Cleans and maintains the equipment according to sanitation and maintenance standards.
• Completes all required training in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
