Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in High Point, NC is seeking a Filler Operator to operate filling equipment and dispense liquid products into containers safely and efficiently.

You will monitor quality, maintain sanitation, and assist with line changes while adhering to food safety standards and company policies.

Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, life insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remove protective packaging from containers or materials.
• Inspect materials for damage or contamination.
• Ensure clean and continuous supply to the production line.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety and food quality standards.
• Tends machine that fills pasteurized products into containers.
• Examines containers for seals, labels, weights, dates, and valves.
• Review with the lab for approvals of each product change on each machine.
• Observe flow of milk into machine and remove defective containers.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Filler Operator is responsible for operating filling equipment to accurately dispense liquid products into containers in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
• Related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety procedures .
