Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain MHE license within 30 days of selection.
• Minimum three months general work experience.
• Able to pass security clearance and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per DLA regulations.
• Ensure material is packaged/marked/labeled per Military Standards before release to storage or shipping.
• Select proper size container and cushioning from stock to protect contents.
• Perform basic inspection/examination of material.
• Read specifications and photographs per DLA contract when required.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) with packing duties as needed.
• Input data to DSS and other systems; prepare basic reports.
• Count, weigh, label items and maintain accurate records.
