Job summary

Navylifema seeks a candidate to support the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Community Recreation program. You will help with events, information resources, and outreach for visiting ships and fleet support, trips, and rentals.

The role requires solid customer service experience, the ability to plan and run leisure activities, and strong written and oral communication skills for reporting and coordination.

Qualifications

• Combination of experience related to customer service and recreation activities.
• Ability to organize, plan, administer special events and entertainment activities.
• Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of goals and procedures for organizing leisure time activities.
• Knowledge of Navy MWR mission and Community Recreation activities and audiences.
• Knowledge of recreation activity functions, procedures and operations.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain records and compile data for reports.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of MWR Community Recreation duties and events.
• Assist with special events, trips, tours and rentals when needed.
• Provide information and resources for recreation activities.
• Coordinate visits by ships or fleet support and community events.
• Maintain records and compile data for reports and dissemination.
