Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California.

This full-time position offers an 8-hour day schedule with shifts Sunday through Saturday, capped at 40 hours weekly, and compensation at $45.00/hr plus $5.42/hr for H&W, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements include an Associates Degree, CAPTE-approved PTA education, a current PTA license or APTA certification, and a minimum of 2 years PTA experience (12

Qualifications

• Associates Degree as PTA from a CAPTE-approved program.
• Current, full, active PTA license or APTA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to PTA staff and students.
• Perform weekend on-call coverage as required by clinic mission.
• Deliver direct therapeutic care to a diverse patient population including TBI, orthopedic, neurological and other conditions.
• Follow a PT-supervised rehabilitation plan and adapt therapy modalities as prescribed.
• Coordinate therapy programs for wounded, ill and injured service members and other beneficiaries.
