Join to apply for the Military Protestant Chaplain role at ARMY & AIRFORCE EXCHANGE SERVICE - AAFES.

Provide pastoral care ministry and counseling to support the spiritual resilience of Airmen worldwide. As a spiritual leader, chaplains offer faith and personal guidance, advocate for Airmen, and advise leadership on moral, ethical, and quality-of-life issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support spiritual centers on military installations worldwide
• Conduct worship services, liturgies, and rites
• Advise leadership on spiritual, religious, ethical, and morale issues
• Supervise chapel personnel, operations, and religious programs

Qualifications, Education, and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 120 semester hours from an accredited institution
• Master of Divinity or equivalent theological degree with at least 72 hours
• Two years of religious ministry leadership experience
• Denomination: Christian Protestant, Muslim, Jewish, Orthodox Christian, Roman Catholic, or other faith groups
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Receive an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a DoD-recognized endorser
• Meet medical and physical fitness standards
• No convictions by courts-martial or civilian courts (except minor infractions)
• No disciplinary actions related to unprofessional relationships, financial irresponsibility, domestic violence, or child abuse
• Be commissioned before age 40 (age waivers may be available)
