Job Description Summary

The Military Engines Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing wing-to-wing activities to achieve on time completion of strategic project initiatives for the Integrated Project Team (IPT). The Project Manager will ensure efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of each project. The IPT Project Manager will develop and maintain the FLIGHT DECK (Lean) action plan for each project and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks and problem solve gap closure while effectively utilizing escalation channels.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Accountable for overall Project Management of all Military IPT Projects
  • Plan, execute, and monitor supply chain projects to meet objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Procurement and Supplier Management, Logistics, Manufacturing Programs and Engineering to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain FLIGHT DECK Action Plans
  • Manage daily and weekly management with Military IPT
  • Prepare overview presentations for leadership sessions
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that may impact project success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present project updates and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Strong project management and collaboration with Suppliers, Shops, and Military Customers to understand constraints and put plan in place to break constraints
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of supply chain and shop operations to execute delivery outcomes according to business needs
  • Use analytical thinking to drive decision making and risk mitigation for the supply chain
  • Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems using project management experience
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from university (or in lieu of a degree a high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Project Management)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Project Management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
