• MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Completion of 1 year of graduate medical education.
• Passing score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT).

Responsibilities

• Manage primary care services.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.
• Assemble and evacuate sick and wounded personnel.
• Examine patients and determine X-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.
• Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings.
• Administer and prescribe measures of treatment such as antibiotics, drugs and compresses.
