Job summary

The U.S. Air Force seeks physicians to shape medical policy, plan operations, and lead clinical teams across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will develop and direct medical programs, interpret test results, and ensure high‑quality care for Airmen.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree with placement in medical school or a medical degree with a residency placement or board certification, and will complete Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with placement in medical school or equivalent program.
• Medical degree with residency placement or board certification.
• Experience in planning or directing medical operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and direct medical policies, programs and services.
• Plan and prepare for medical operations.
• Determine personnel, equipment, training and facilities required to establish and sustain medical programs or operations.
• Oversee medical operations and lead medical personnel.
• Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings.
• Perform, supervise and direct the delivery of clinical services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
