Description

Patriot Enterprises provides support to the Army National Guard (ARNG) for Military Funeral Honors (MFH) and Survivor Outreach Services (SOS), assisting geographically dispersed service members and families. The MFH Regional Coordinators oversee and coordinate activities of the Coordinators within their respective regions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all MFH State Coordinators vet all mission requests according to published guidance.
• Ensure all MFH State Coordinators enter mission requests into the MFH database within 24 hours and close out all missions within 72 hours.
• Ensure all MFH State Coordinators follow the ARNG MFH Training SOP and oversee all training within their states/territories.
• Ensure all MFH State Coordinators are properly trained to perform their tasks.
• Mentor and advise staff on program understanding and compliance with Army, NGB, State NG, and IMCOM guidance and regulations.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience providing military funeral honors, information, assistance, outreach, referral, and follow-up services to Families and survivors from all service components.
• Strong sense of mission, focus, knowledge, and resourcefulness related to MFH.
• Emotional maturity, tact, and attentive listening skills.
• Ability to provide dignified verbal and written responses; articulate well in sensitive situations; build rapport with Families, Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), and other stakeholders; understand reactions, and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to manage, train, mentor, and advise MFH State Coordinators.
• Proficiency with the ARNG MFH database, report generation, and ensuring timely and accurate case entries.
• Knowledge of applicable Army, NGB, State NG, and IMCOM policies, regulations, guidance, SOPs, training, and resources.
• Understanding of ARNG organization, structure, and military culture.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Self-starter with good time management skills.
• Ability to travel.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass extensive background investigation.
