Summary
As a Military Funeral Honors (MFH) Coordinator, you will coordinate and fulfill requests for funeral honors ceremonies, working with state and federal entities to ensure dignified ceremonies for eligible service members.
Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with MFH Database and Handbook, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to operate Microsoft Office applications, and interpersonal skills to relate to diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years of related experience, experience in recordkeeping or database management, valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with military funerals, knowledge of Army regulations, and relevant certifications.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate ranges from $26.45 to $32.70. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
