Job description

SNC’s Military Fellowship Program partners with initiatives such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide up to six months of on‑the‑job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for a transition to full‑time civilian work. Note: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program; it is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.

As a Quality Manager, you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems, and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Your duties include devising and implementing methods and procedures for auditing and evaluating process accuracy, ensuring corrective measures and deviations meet reliability standards, and maintaining documentation compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• Currently serving as active duty military and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
• Typically, 6+ years of progressive quality assurance experience, including 0‑2+ years of management experience.
• Direct aviation and aerospace operations experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and CMMI standards.
• Experience in an electronic or mechanical systems environment.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Attainment of Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Certified Manager of Quality or Organizational Excellence.
• Certified Quality Improvement Associate.
• Certified Quality Auditor.
