Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department seeks a qualified Child and Youth Program Coordinator to support school-aged dependents of Army National Guard members. Responsibilities include coordinating life-skill education, deployment-cycle programming, and outreach to military families within DoD and National Guard frameworks.

You will work on-site at the National Guard facilities, collaborating with SFPD, YRRP POC, and partner organizations to deliver training, resources, and briefings while ensuring

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree in social sciences, education, human resources, or business/program management is required.
• At least two years of demonstrated work experience in Education, Youth Development, Reserve Component Family Programs or Child & Youth Programs, or related fields.
• Must pass state and federal background investigations; CNACI clearance; CPR and first aid certificates within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct life-skill and resilience-building education for school-aged dependents of Army National Guard members.
• Coordinate with the YRRP POC for support of Child & Youth Services training at deployments and events.
• Market DoD and National Guard childcare fee assistance resources to eligible Families.
• Provide briefings to state military leadership and community partners as required.
