Job summary

Katmai is seeking a Behavioral Health Case Manager to work with the NM Army National Guard and OTSS, coordinating care and ensuring readiness. The role involves direct collaboration with the BHO, OTSS leadership, and COR to manage caseloads and report on readiness and outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical screening, assessments, crisis intervention, and coordination of BH services, including referral networks and case management efforts for soldiers and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of equivalent Case Management and/or Care Coordination experience with acute and chronic behavioral health conditions.
• A master’s in social work from an accredited program is required.
• Expertise as dictated by the Clinical Licensing Board and shall have a degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Experience working with clients with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction and align with OTSS/ COR goals for soldier care.
• Report readiness metrics and caseload updates weekly to OTSS/COR.
• Assess clients to understand severity of substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Provide resources for return to duty and coordinate BH programs and processes.
