Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Smyrna seeks a Milieu Manager for the 3-11PM shift to supervise daily operation of evidence-based programming and to provide clinical supervision of program dynamics in an acute therapeutic milieu. You will support program development while ensuring patient goals for recovery and community reintegration with appropriate services.

• Graduate degree with licensure or eligibility in a clinical field.
• In lieu of advanced degree, 7–10 years inpatient psychiatric leadership experience.

He/she provides clinical supervision of program dynamics within the acute therapeutic milieu for patients. Supports program development and organizational objectives, while ensuring that patient goals for recovery, stabilization, and community re-integration are supported by appropriate services. Supervises and assists in hiring, training, and evaluation of Mental Health Technicians. Promotes facility values and philosophies in all aspects of treatment practice, in accordance with Ridgeview Institute policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulation and licensure accreditation standards.## Qualifications***Education/Experience***: Preferred education is a graduate degree from an accredited school of psychology, social work, professional counseling, education or medicine with licensure or licensure eligibility as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Nursing or Psychiatrist (MSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, Psy.D., Ed.D., RN, LPN or equivalent). In lieu of an advanced degree, a minimum of seven to ten years of work experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting with leadership responsibility is required. Five years full-time experience in inpatient psychiatric setting or equivalent.
