Job summary

The BridgeWay in North Little Rock, Arkansas seeks a Milieu Coordinator to lead and coordinate patient care across units in our behavioral health campus. You will interview applicants, participate in performance evaluations, and work with the charge nurse and nursing supervisor to implement improvements on the assigned unit.

We value leadership, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to guide a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education preferred but not required.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare with adolescents preferred but not required.
• Must possess demonstrable leadership and supervisory skills.
• Current CPR and CPI certifications, or must obtain within two (2) weeks of date of hire (offered onsite).
• Documented experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus) required.

The Milieu Coordinator will report to the ACNO and CNO. Must be thoroughly familiar with behavioral theory and concepts and be able to apply behavioral principles. This position will assist in interviewing applicants, as needed. This position will assist in completion of performance evaluation process on MHAs. In addition, this position will oversee/coordinate the specific unit that they are assigned and initially address any corrective actions needed in conjunction with the charge nurse and/or nursing supervisor.
