Nexus Family Healing in Austin is seeking an energetic Milieu Lead to guide daily programming, mentor Youth Care Professionals, and implement trauma-informed interventions in a safe, productive milieu. You will coordinate staff, supervise routines, partner with clinical teams, ensure compliance with safety policies, and support families through collaborative care in a dynamic residential setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass DHS background check.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals.
• Handle with Care training completed or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and coordinate daily activities for Youth Care Professionals.
• Mentor staff using trauma-informed practices and supervise milieu safety.
• Collaborate with clinical team on treatment plans and family engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and licensing requirements.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback for staff and youth.
