Job summary

Pathlight is seeking a Milieu Coordinator to facilitate groups, monitor meals, and support behavioral health programs across inpatient/residential and partial hospitalization settings. The role may require on-call shifts to meet program needs, in accordance with labor laws.

The MC I/MC II positions require a behavioral health degree and relevant experience, with MC II offering leadership for more advanced groups and potential licensing preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field is required.
• MC I requires at least 6 months of behavioral health experience.
• MC II requires at least 18 months of behavioral health experience; intern or associate license preferred; 1+ year group facilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides meal monitoring and support.
• Documents groups, meals, and patient check-ins/observations.
• Provides milieu support with de-escalation and crisis management.
• Bathroom monitoring.
• Conducts self-harm and suicide assessment.
• Supports morning routine in IP/Res programs.
• Collects weights, vitals, and urine in some settings.
• Implements individual behavior plans and may lead advanced groups (MC II).

What you’ll be doing:

The Milieu Coordinator (MC I, MC II) facilitates therapeutic groups based on core curriculum. Provides meal monitoring and meal support. Offers milieu support, de‑escalation and behavior coaching to patients in Inpatient/Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. The MC may be required to work on‑call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provides meal monitoring and support
• Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations
• Provides support to Milieu including the following:
• De‑escalation and crisis management
• Bathroom monitoring
• Conducts self‑harm and suicide assessment
• Support morning routine in IP/Res programs
• Collect weights, vitals and urine in some settings
• Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends. Will lead more advanced groups (MC II)

Milieu Coordinator I (MC I) musthaves:

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required)
• Minimum 6 months of experience in behavioral health or related field (Required)

Milieu Coordinator II (MC II) musthaves:

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required)
• Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (Required–waived with relevant master's degree)
• Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred)
• 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)

$20.75 - $29 USD
