What You'll Do Here

  1. Manage existing accounts: grow sales of products and services through solution selling methods, understand changing customer needs, work with customer support and credit departments to ensure proper fulfillment of orders.
  2. Identify new school programs and those using competitor curriculum and convert to Milady; maintain quality contacts and employ company resources as needed to close sales.
  3. Work with Implementation & Training Specialists to convert and close digital sales.
  4. Become a beauty industry and Milady product expert. Understand the community college business and their unique needs as well as each state’s requirements.
  5. Become proficient in Magellan, Salesforce, E1, and Datawarehouse, and use these sales and marketing tools to their full capability.
  6. Reach all assigned sales goals.
  7. Prepare complete, accurate, detailed reports within established timelines: customer reports, trip reports, weekly reports, monthly reports, and special reports as requested.
  8. Develop and implement strategic plans which maximize sales opportunities.
  9. Attend assigned trade shows to foster relationships, promote products, and close sales.

Skills You'll Need Here

(Required)

  • 3+ Years of sales experience, showcasing a successful track record in a consultative sales position; demonstrated results in the needs-based selling process; and territory management.
  • Self-motivated, goal achiever with a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a desire to influence and persuade people.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and personal skills to successfully communicate and negotiate with internal and external customers.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge (including Excel) are necessary to manage assigned duties as well as educate customers on new content delivery platforms and programs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required to attend conferences as needed.
  • Must be located in EST/CST.

Compensation

We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The full base pay range is $21.25 - $26.00 USD. Individual pay varies based on factors like work schedule, experience, and location. Sales roles may include incentive compensation beyond base pay.
