A leading manufacturing company is seeking experienced MIG Welders for 2nd shift roles. Responsibilities include performing welding duties, ensuring quality, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma and 2 years of MIG welding experience, and must pass a welding test.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Starting Pay Rate based on previous job experience and test results.
Our client is seeking experienced welders/fitters in fabrication and/or assembly of heavy structural weldments and/or construction industry equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Perform welding duties using wire welding FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
•Perform welding in various positions.
•Weld steel components on equipment with appropriate welding equipment in accordance with the material(s) required for the blueprints, diagrams, work orders, instruction (oral and written), process, specified procedures, layouts, and all other quality requirements.
•Individual welds range from simple tack welds to complex welds, performed in varying positions and spaces. Welding work involves set-up and laying out work using templates and fixtures to modify, fabricate, or repair equipment parts and/or products.
•Operate or use various air, power, hand tools including Air Arc, welding gun, grinders, wrenches, hammers, cutting torches, drills, punches, scrapers, and others. Also operate or use forklifts, and cranes and overhead hoists with associated rigging equipment.
•Keep welding equipment and tools operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, follow manufacturer’s instructions, call for repairs, and complete daily check sheets.
•AWS 4G qualification skills are the minimum requirement for all Vince Hagan Welder positions.
•Inspect, clean, and improve welds as necessary to meet rigorous Vince Hagan product and quality specifications. Continuously strive to improve your work-related skills, efficiency, and the quality of output.
•Use a computer to access and open/close computer documents, perform data entry in Company’s ERP software, and other basic computer skills.
•Fulfill work requirements according to Vince Hagan quality standards determined for the assigned work tasks, including incoming and outgoing quality checks, and other quality inspections as required by management. Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
•Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment following the Company’s guidelines and Hazardous Waste Management programs.
•Conserve resources by appropriately and efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish work tasks.
•Use Vince Hagan property with care and respect, help maintain it in good working condition, and retain it on premises.
•Interact with fellow Vince Hagan employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; comply with Vince Hagan policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Perform or assist in other assigned duties as qualified and trained.
•Must complete and maintain forklift operation certification and be able to safely operate a forklift when necessary.
Education/Experience:
•Must pass administered weld test to be considered for this position.
•High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
•2 years of MIG welding experience required.TIG not necessary.
•Relevant trade school or college course work desired.
•Ability to correctly use and read a tape measure, and read/understand job-related blueprints, required.
•Heavy equipment manufacturing experience desired.
•Computer experience desired.
•Bilingual speakers are desired.
•Must be dependable, dedicated to completing work assignments correctly, and use time wisely.
•Adaptable at solving problems, to new situations and challenges, potential policy changes, and new ideas.
•Ability to satisfactorily work alone with reasonable and appropriate instructions, training, and supervision.
•Ability to work with others respectfully and professionally in a team environment.
