Job summary
Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group in Akron, Ohio. The role emphasizes MIGS with an interest in pelvic medicine, and includes participation in education and academic activities with NEOMED.
The practice supports 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty coverage, with additional surgical sites and a competitive compensation package including potential signing bonus, relocation, loan assistance, and CME support.
Qualifications
- Board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist required.
- Completion of MIGS fellowship required.
- Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Active involvement in teaching trainees (students/residents/fellows).
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care in a team-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Join a MIGS-focused practice within Summa Health Medical Group.
- 3 in-office days with potential to build up to 2 OR days per week.
- Flexible 0.80–1.0 FTE schedule.
- Participate in education and academic activities with NEOMED.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty teams; use Epic EMR.
