Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the employed physician group. The surgeon will focus on MIGS and pelvic medicine, with duties excluding obstetrics, and will participate in resident education in a large, multi-specialty system.

The candidate will have an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University and will use Epic EMR across sites including Medina, Wadsworth, and Barberton.

Qualifications

• The MIGS fellowship is required and board certification in OB/GYN.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries (MIGS).
• Care for patients in pelvic medicine and pelvic health areas.
• Contribute to education within a team-based care model.
• Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary Summa Health group and participate in academic activities.
