Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group in Akron, Ohio. The candidate should have a MIGS fellowship and OB/GYN board certification, with licensure in Ohio or ability to obtain it.

The role emphasizes pelvic health across a broad spectrum of conditions, in a large, established group with robust support services and academic appointment opportunities at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship is required.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain is required.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education is expected.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Interest in pelvic medicine and pelvic health including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and injections.
• Join Summa Health Medical Group as part of a large, multi-specialty employed network.
• Provide care with 0.8–1.0 FTE scheduling.
• Collaborate with 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty coverage.
