Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The MIGS specialist will focus on pelvic health, including fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain and related conditions; obstetrics is not included.

The role offers an employed position with competitive compensation, signing bonus, relocation and CME allowance. Expect 3 days in the office and 2 days in the OR, with 0.8–1.0 FTE and access to 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty

Qualifications

• Fellowship in MIGS and OB/GYN board certification.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIGS procedures and related pelvic health care.
• Contribute to academic appointments and education of students and residents.
• Collaborate within a large multi-specialty Summa Health Medical Group.
• Support care across multiple sites with 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty coverage.
