A leading defense contractor is offering an internship to support the Defense Enclave Services contract, assisting in the migration of DoD systems. Description

The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DoD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ (DAFAs) common use information technology systems, personnel, functions, and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. It will unify the DAFAs on a common, modernized network architecture, DODNet, to provide mission services focused on enhanced user experience, improved security, and network reliability.

This internship will enter a rotation to understand the migration best practices during DODNet discovery, planning and design, and migration execution.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support project manager in DAFA migration efforts across multiple task orders.
  • Assist with travel support and invoicing review across multiple task orders.
  • Assist with network Point Of Contact (POC) coordination.
  • Provide Bill Of Materials (BOM) support across migration efforts.
  • Assist the Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams with Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) preparation and uploads.
  • Organize and support the Migration Queue and triage issues for the SME teams.
  • Assist with the coordination and communication for migration testing activities.
  • Rotate through migration support duties to fully understand the phases of discovery, planning and design and migration execution.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the Junior/Senior level.
  • Good communications and writing skills.
  • US Citizen required.
  • Must have a Secret security clearance.

Pay Range

Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
