Job summary

You will collaborate with Microsoft engineering and support teams, lead workshops, and drive migration readiness assessments from planning through implementation.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure and enterprise migrations.

Responsibilities

• Execute migration assessments, planning, and implementation activities.
• Validate readiness and prerequisites for migration projects.
• Troubleshoot storage, networking, identity, and workload migration issues.
• Review and validate PowerShell-based migration scripts and logs.
• Prepare runbooks, ops procedures, and technical documentation.
• Lead customer workshops and migration planning sessions.

Experience: 9 plus years

We are seeking an experienced Customer-Facing Migration Engineer with 9+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure, hybrid cloud technologies, and enterprise migration projects. This role focuses on helping customers migrate workloads from Azure Stack Hub and Azure Stack Edge to Azure and Azure Local while working closely with Microsoft engineering and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute migration assessments, planning, and implementation activities
• Validate migration readiness and technical prerequisites
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, storage, identity, and workload migration issues
• Validate PowerShell-based migration scripts and analyze migration logs
• Conduct readiness reviews, compatibility assessments, and post-migration validation
• Collaborate with Microsoft Product Engineering on escalations and pilot programs
• Create migration runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation
• Lead customer workshops, migration planning sessions, and technical discussions
• Storage, Compute, and Identity Services
