Job summary

Northwest Arkansas Ed Co-Op in Farmington, Arkansas seeks a Migrant Tutor to deliver tutoring to migrant students ages 3-21, in homes or schools. The role requires an outgoing personality and a willingness to work across diverse locations with underserved students.

Position Type: Full Time (190 Day Contract). Yearly Salary: $29,956. Typical hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm, with travel across eight counties and reimbursement per NWAESC policy.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel across eight counties.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Cooperative Director and Migrant State Director.
• Provide tutoring to students 3–21 years old, individually or in groups.
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to support students.
• Remain current on Migrant Education Program requirements and standards.
• Provide Out of School Youth instruction in Reading, GED & Life Skills.
• Follow policies and maintain confidentiality and organized documentation.
