Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in education, social work, human services, public administration, or a related field.
• Preferred three years of progressively responsible experience managing educational, youth development, family support, community-based, or grant-funded programs.
• Experience supervising and developing staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and team leadership.
• Experience collecting, managing, and reporting program data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate full-time and part-time program staff, ensuring high-quality performance and fidelity to the Migrant Education Program model.
• Provide ongoing leadership and support to staff through supervision, meetings, and trainings.
• Oversee the collection, management, and reporting of program data to ensure accuracy and compliance with grant requirements.
• Maintain data integrity within state information systems (MSDC, MSIX).
• Assist with grant administration and fiscal management including budget tracking and purchases.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with schools, community organizations, and migrant families.
• Represent the program to stakeholders and promote awareness of services.
• Lead strategic planning to expand program services to additional regions of Virginia.
• Assess community needs and coordinate outreach in new service areas.
