Mig Welders - 2nd shift 4-10 hr shifts OT on Fridays

Join us as a Mig Welder at Donaldson.

Location: Nicholasville, KY

Job Type: Full-time, 2nd shift, 4-10 hour shifts, OT on Fridays

Starting Pay: $22.91/hour with $1.00 shift premium increases every 90 days in the first year

Role Responsibilities:
  • Work safely and observe all EHS rules
  • Fit, weld, and detail equipment assemblies out of sheet steel and structural steel
  • Set up and operate different types of welders
  • Read blueprints and understand instructions
  • Use mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to complete tasks
  • Complete quality checks and fill out paperwork
  • Handle materials and transport products
  • Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, environmental, and safety policies
  • Use all designated PPE
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of weld certifications
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Fit/tack weldment assemblies
  • Operate industrial fork trucks and overhead cranes
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective interaction with team members
  • React productively to change and handle assigned tasks
  • Regular and predictable attendance
