Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring for a MIG Welder in Greeneville, TN. This full-time, temp-to-hire role offers weekly pay and an option for insurance. You will MIG-weld parts per prints, set up equipment, inspect weld quality, and maintain safe work areas.

The ideal candidate has MIG welding experience and the ability to pass a welder qualification test, with a readiness to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic experience a plus
• One year of welding experience or completion of welding classes preferred
• Ability to pass welder qualification test
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and lift upto 50 pounds
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to learn company products and processes
• Commitment to quality, safety, environmental standards, and company policies

Responsibilities

• Pull, fit, and MIG weld parts according to prints and specifications
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, wire feed, and gas flow
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and conformance to specifications
• Clean and prepare materials before and after welding
• Label finished products accurately
• Follow basic processes, safety standards, and work instructions
• Maintain welding equipment and work area cleanliness
• Follow all policies, guidelines, and safety procedures in place
• Completesany other related tasks as needed
