Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo seeks experienced Welders to perform MIG welding and weld finishing on stainless steel parts used in our manufacturing processes. You will clean welds, weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions, and assemble components according to blueprints or MOS while inspecting bead size and meeting specs.

Willing to float to other areas as needed. Starting pay is $21 per hour and is based on experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years MIG welding on stainless steel
• Experience reading engineering drawings and matching parts to blueprint specifications
• Experience using QC equipment (Tape Measure, Mics, Calipers, Gauges)

Responsibilities

• Weld and weld finish items (MIG) per drawings and MOS
• Clean weld joints or workpieces
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
• Position or clamp parts and assemble in jig/fixture; follow bead size/specs
