Candidates must read gauges and blueprints, pass weld tests, and be able to work mandatory overtime as business needs require. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Welder Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, based on education and work experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Preferred Welder Certification.
• Must read gauges, tapes, and blueprints.
• Basic shop math.
• Knowledge of welding practices and setup.
• Ability to pass weld tests and pulmonary function tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of welding tools and equipment.
• Weld in Flat, Horizontal, Vertical down and Overhead.
• Set up parts and assemblies for welding.
• Position and move blocking, braces and jigs.
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting devices.
• Perform measurement and quality checks.
• Maintain safety and attendance.
• Attend scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
