Job summary

Hendrickson in Somerset, KY is seeking a skilled welder to support the Axle Production area, operating MIG welding equipment and rotating through multiple stations to keep production flowing. You will perform quality checks with precision measuring tools, document builds per work orders, and uphold safety standards while contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

A high school diploma or GED is required; successful completion of the Hendrickson weld test (2G) is expected,

Qualifications

• Must pass Hendrickson weld test – 2G.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Able to rotate across stations with minimal supervision.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding machinery in the Fabrication area.
• Perform quality checks using calibrated tools to ensure tolerance.
• Complete paperwork/reports documenting builds per work orders.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
• Oversee growing successful leaders.
