Job summary

Ring-O-Matic is seeking a Welder to hand-weld components for our equipment. You will read blueprints, set up fixtures, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools, with parts up to 50 pounds. You will operate MIG welding equipment and ensure weld quality while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Have MIG welding experience (3 years) or completed a formal welding training program/certificate.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Skilled in reading tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Read information from blueprints, technical manuals, or other documents.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
• Move and position parts up to 50 pounds, sometimes using a hoist.
• Use a hoist to lift and position large components and weldments.
• Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.
• Inspect welds, ensure quality, and correct defects as needed.
• Maintain safe working practices and cooperate with colleagues.
