Responsibilities include MIG welding on metal components, reading blueprints, fitting and finishing welds, and maintaining jigs and fixtures while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years MIG welding experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
• Experience with hand, air, and electrical tools.
• Trade school or welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies.
• Read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Fit, tack, and complete welds in various sizes and positions.
• Grind, straighten, cut, and finish welded parts.
• Set up welding jigs and fixtures.
• Inspect completed welds and make corrections.
• Safely operate grinders and fabrication tools.
• Follow safety and production procedures.
