Adecco is partnering with a Howell, MI manufacturing company to hire 1st shift MIG Welders. This full-time, contract-to-hire role focuses on fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components for door and frame manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, drill presses, and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fabricate products accurately.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related fabrication tools.
• Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and appearance standards are met.
• Perform measurements and quality checks using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other inspection tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Assist with general fabrication, assembly, and production activities as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet production schedules.
