JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented MIG Welder I to jumpstart their career in metal fabrication! Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will learn fundamental welding tasks using metal inert gas (MIG) welding equipment. This role will understand and apply welding techniques, working quickly & skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame. As part of this position, you will also train for & achieve your 1G and 1F welding certifications within your first 3 months.

This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $19.00-$24.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
  • Must be successful in acquiring a 1G and 1F certification within first 90 days.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of previous MIG welding experience.
