Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Welder to perform MIG welding of component parts and assemblies, ensuring products meet quality standards. You will set up welding equipment, position parts in fixtures, and inspect welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, MIG welding experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on the 2nd shift in Illinois. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG welding on component parts and assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper operation.
• Position and secure parts using fixtures, clamps and jigs.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance.
• Grind, clean, and prepare welded parts as needed.
• Perform basic measurements and visual quality checks.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.
