Job summary

Mancan in partnership with a manufacturing company based in Weirton is seeking skilled MIG Welders to join the team. This full-time role starts at $17.00 per hour, with potential for growth based on performance. Prior welding experience is essential; certification is not required but MIG proficiency is a must.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 6AM–4PM. You will weld metal components, set up equipment, read drawings, and help ensure high-quality final products in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Must supply own welding helmet and steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding to join metal parts according to specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for quality welds.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot welding-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Monitor welding operations and adjust techniques for consistency.
• Assist in assembly and fabrication of metal products.
