Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company, in Lindon, UT, seeks a Welder for on-site work. You will cut materials, perform MIG welding, and learn to operate other machine shop equipment.

You’ll follow work orders, assemble parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Qualified candidates have an apprenticeship or in-company training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 65 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or in-company training required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to weld vertical, flat, or overhead positions.
• Must lift up to 65 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of work orders; gathers tools and materials.
• Repairs and fabricates items using cutting, punching and welding.
• Monitors welding to prevent overheating, warping, distortion.
• Prepares and tacks welds; assembles surfaces to be welded.
• Maintains, cleans, and organizes equipment and work area.
• Notifies supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
